Mars:  Inspiration to paint The Planet Series came while I was living in San Francisco.  As I walked throughout the city looking up at the big sky governing our universe, I wanted to add meaningful text to each planet that would also represent the power and energy each planet gifts us as humans. 

Mars is our closest planet.  It is commonly known as the planet of war, but it being our closest neighbor ~ I say I love it.  Love Your Neighbor. Love Your Neighborhood.  I suppose when reflect on my work, the continual meaning of Peace speaks through my soul.
