WINGS ON RED - When I first began painting angel wings, it was important to me to use colors I considered representative of the Devine in humanity, the purples of the 7th chakra the self realization and crown chakra.  Therefore, through my sincere intent and respect of angel wings, I painted Wings on Red using my original color palette, and original folded downward position emulating the feeling of protection and making us feel safe, secure, and bowing to the light.

Specifically, Wings on Red were inspired by the unbridled characteristics of a fellow artist and mutual friend who exuded a true passion and zest for life without pause.  He was considered a catalyst amongst his friends bringing people together from all walks of life.  He was masculine, festive, outgoing and created an environment that brought people together to celebrate the one true thing we should all celebrate daily ~ friends, family and life.
